Czech and Slovak Linguistic Review is a reviewed academic journal devoted to theory of natural language, language universals, the relationship between natural language and formal languages, semiotics, and the interdisciplinary context of natural language research (psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics, pragmalinguistics, etnolinguistics, and critical discourse analysis). CSLR also publishes reviews of scientific publications, reports on conferences and research programmes. Articles for potential publication are subjected to an anonymous peer review process. CSLR presents the most important scientific achievements in Czech and Slovak linguistics, not only in the Slovak and Czech studies.
